In ICC T20 WORLD CUP, India were facing against the Bangla Tigers. Bangladesh has won their 2 games out of 3 while India also were at the same position before the match. Both India and Bangladesh lost their matches against Southafrica.

In this world cup, India have already beat Pakistan in a nail bitter while Netherlands have been an easy win for India but in the last game against Southafrica, India have lost their winning streak. While Bangladesh started their campaign with a win against Netherlands but can’t grab their momentum in te next match against Southafrica and the loss that match but again they bounce back and beat the inform Zimbabwe in the last match .

We already saw a lot of upsets in this world Cup, where Zimbabwe beat Pakistan, Ireland beat England, Netherlands beat Zimbabwe, Westindies can’t qualify for the super 12. So, we couldnot predict earlier that India can easily won this match. But the match has been an do Or die for both the teams.

The Match was played at the Adelaide Oval Ground where the chances of rain was high. Bangladesh won the toss and choose to field first. While Rohit (Indian Skipper)said in the meet that he wanted to bat as well. So, the match started and India lost Rohit’s wicket early but KL Rahul and Virat Kohli makes a partnership and makes India to reach a good total of 184.In middle after the wicket of KL Rahul, Surya done a good job with bat scoring 30 runs in just 16 balls and at the end Ashwin hit 1 six and a four in the last over. But the problem of middle is still there, where Hardik, DK and axar can’t contribute much in their team total. While in bowling, Bangladesh’s skipper did a good job giving just 33 runs in 4 overs and took 2 crucial wickets and another bowler who helps Bangladesh to get into this match was Hasan Mahmud who took 3 important wickets of Rohit, Hardik and Axar.

Seeing the massive target of 185 runs in front of them, Bangla tigers start their batting quite aggressively,especially their star batter, Liton Das,who scored 60 runs off just 27 balls making the equation quite tough for India.But, after 7 overs of 2nd innings, the rain comes into play and at that point Bangladesh are 17 runs ahead according to dls method. But after 50 mins the game again started . But the target has been revised by dls method and the new target was 151 runs off 16 overs. So, Bangladesh need just 85 runs off 9 overs having 10 wickets in hand.

But after the rain break, India just came with a new energy into the pitch and within the first 2 balls after the break, KL Rahul throws a bullet from the deep cover point which hits the non striking end and Liton Das got runout there and the comeback of India team started. And after the departure of Liton Das, no batsman can’t capitalise the start and the wickets fall quickly . Within Liton Das wicket, Bangladesh lost more 5 wicket in just 40 runs . Shami, Hardik and Arshdeep are the star in those middle overs taking 1,2 and 2 wickets respectively.In the last 3 over, Bangladesh need 43 runs off just 18 balls, where Bangladesh scored 37 runs. In the last over, Bangladesh need 20 runs in 6 balls but Arshdeep clinch the win in the last ball. And India win this match by 5 runs (dls method). The Man of the match award goes to Virat Kohli for his 64 runs in just 44 balls.

This match has been a thriller for both the sides but at the end India won this match and this victory led team blues to the top spot of their group with 6 points in 4 matches.

On Sunday, India will play their last match of their group stage against Zimbabwe while Bangladesh will play their last match on Sunday as well against Pakistan which is a must win game for Bangla tigers and also they have to look at the other results of their group for their progress in the semis.
